THE VISION OF EZEKIEL

THE VISION OF EZEKIEL: The name Ezekiel means "the strength of God." He was carried off into captivity in Babylon. For 22 lond years, Ezekiel guided the family while in exile. His vision was for the nation of Israel, according to verse 11. However, the message is relevent for today's church. WHAT EZEKIEL SAW: Ezekiel 37:1-3. 1) Spiritually LIFELESS bones: Ezekiel 37:1. 2) Spiritually USELESS bones: Ezekiel 37:2. Spiritually HOPELESS bones: Ezekiel 37:3; Romans 3:12. WHAT EZEKIEL FELT: Ezekiel 37:4-9: 1) He was ENCOURAGED. Ezekiel 37:4. 2) He was EPOWERED. Ezekiel 37:9. WHAT EZEKIEL DID: Ezekiel 37:10-14: 1) He MOBILIZED the people of God. Ezekiel 37:10. 2) He UTILIZED the peolple of God. Ezekiel 37:14. "When you say a situation ora person is hopeless, you are slamming the door in the face of God." -- Charles L. Allen
